FrameWorks is a program of Mission West Virginia that finds families for children waiting in the foster care system. If you would like to receive an information packet about how to become a foster and/or adoptive parent, please fill out the following form at this link: ONLINE INFORMATION REQUEST FORM. We also encourage you to give us a call if you have any questions. Our number is 304-512-0555 to speak directly with our Family Liaison or you can call our general line at 304-562-0723.

Our efforts include recruiting families to foster/adopt, helping families to navigate the certification process and providing support to kinship caregivers. Additionally, we organize events throughout the year to promote awareness of foster care, adoption and kinship care-

Education and Information

The FrameWorks program provides information and resources to help foster and/or adoptive parents become certified. We are here to assist families as they take the first steps on their foster/adoptive journey. FrameWorks also hosts trainings focused on adoption and kinship care, provides kinship care information manuals and hosts a lending library of foster/adopt materials. Recruitment and Awareness

We work diligently to find forever families for youth in foster care who are legally eligible to be adopted. We facilitate matches between families and children, partner with local businesses, organizations and faith communities to promote foster care and adoption. We also organize community activities and special events focused on foster care and adoption awareness.

Support & Special Projects

FrameWorks provides assistance to relative caregivers and assists families who are beginning the foster care and/or adoption process. We also fundraise for special projects so that we can provide educational opportunities, support and encouragement to youth who are in foster care.
