Did you have fears about becoming a foster parent?

Yes, I had fears. But I listened and pushed through the fear knowing that in the end it would pay off.

When I first met my child....

She greeted me from her car seat with her hands outstretched and said, "Mummy!"

When we first felt like family....

The first time we drove to my parents' house. Our dog, Murphy and my foster child were sitting in the back seat together so excited to go for a ride.

I assume its just like any other parent's life. Its funny, joyful, frustrating, and worrisome. But most of all it's a blessing.
