Eating Disorders: Signs, Symptoms, Screening, and Referral WEBINAR

In this webinar, our Youth Resource Coordinator, Autumn Wagoner, will provide participants with foundational knowledge on eating disorders, signs and symptoms, and best practices for screening youth.

Autumn is also in recovery from an eating disorder that she battled throughout high school and will share her story of her battle and how this impacted herself and family, as well as her road to recovery.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify clinical indicators of eating disorders and how they manifest in primary care settings

  • Describe DSM-5 eating disorder diagnoses

·        Identify CBT and DBT techniques applicable to eating disorder treatment.

  • Discuss ways to approach patients you have concerns about and provide referrals

 

This webinar training is 2 hours.

CEUs: 2 CEUs will be provided for social workers.

Webinar Audience: This webinar was designed for professionals working youth, School Counselors, Social Workers, Addiction Counselors, Psychologists. Credentials are not required to enroll, anyone is welcome to participate in the online course.
