In this webinar, listeners will be educated on the bullying epidemic that is impacting our youth and their mental health as well as the associated risks of suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Listeners will learn the risk factors that accompany bullying and suicide as well as the statistics of these issues. Listeners will also learn ways to provide assistance to youth experiencing bullying and suicidal thoughts and become familiar with resources available to provide assistance. 

Learning Objectives 

  •  Listeners will understand the different types of bullying and how this impacts our youth. 

  • Listeners will learn red flags of a youth who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts. 

  • Listeners will learn to feel comfortable addressing youth who is experiencing bullying. 

  • Listeners will be knowledgeable of resources available for bullying and suicide 

 

This webinar training is 1.5 hours. 

CEUs: 1.5 CEUs will be provided for social workers. 

Webinar Audience: This webinar was designed for Middle & High School Parents, Professionals working youth, School Counselors, and Social Workers. Credentials are not required to enroll, anyone is welcome to participate in the online course.
